I'm going to Sakura-con this year as Ulquiorra. 
And lots of shenanigans will ensue.
Going as an emotionless bad ass like this Espada will prove to have some difficulties. Accompanying me on this three day journey are two of my closest friends and my personal costume designer.
don't take me wrong. it's not like im rich or anything.
One of my friends has ADD and is made of giggles, rainbows and really good Polish food. She smiles all the time, cracks jokes whenever time has it, her laugh is contagious, and she likes to glomp people. i have to be emotionless. I will be standing next to her.
emotionless + amusing = really hard time restraining giggles
I have no idea what my two friends are going to be, no idea what or who.
As for my costume, i have no idea how it's coming along.
but i am well prepared for the role as Ulquiorra. i have been practising my vocabulary, sarcasm skills, eye roll, fragile appearance, lack of interest, and monotone voice. yes. 
i went there and came back with souvenirs.

OMFG FAIRY TAIL HAS AN ANIME?!?! :woohoo:
I was actually browsing 'round DA looking at demotivational posters, and i found one with a scene from Fairy Tail, a manga i love to death. :dummy: Kudos to the amazing person who presented as such. And i was all like ZOMG I KNOW THIS!!
And so, thanks to the amazingly and disturbingly educated by everyone phenomenon that is Youtube, i found out that Fairy Tail does, indeed, in fact, thank God, have its own well-deserved anime. And, judging by the opening mind you, it seems they did Gray justice. :meow:

Famous Literature
So............i have this problem with well known books and novels.
I absolutely love them. Great story, realistic characters, interesting connections to the reader, definition of morals, challenging high powers and political faces, they are a good stew to feast on. They demonstrate life both then and now and have memorable characters and quotes. plus the scenery is gorgeous.
But in a lot of them...well...i'll name the few i know:
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest - Ken Kesey
Of Mice and Men - John Steinbeck
Phantom of the Opera
The Great Gatsby
These works of art hold a special place in my heart. I love these books and their movies did

Making a student carry six textbooks (which are each about an inch or more thick) is cruel and unusual torture. :wtf:
anyways, so second day of school today...
The hallways are full of the people who walk extremely slowly, no they saunter down the hall and you get stuck behind them. Or they stop right freaking in front of you and glare at you when you run into them or snap at them to watch where the hell they're going. and my bus is overly crowded! now that may be a hyperbole but three to a seat with douches who don't wanna share just peeves me. :turbopoke:
